Steps to Activate Blubox

1.	Once installation is complete, you will see the Blubox icon on your Desktop. Double-Click the icon to open Blubox for the first time. The Welcome window will appear if the software is unlicensed.

2.	Click the 'Activate Now' button if you already have a license Serial Number. The Activation Wizard will guide you through the steps required to register online.

3.	Press the 'Free Trial' button if you would like to run a free 28 day trial of the Full Version - or if you would like to use the Free Viewer only.

End of Trial Period

1.	At the end of your free trial period the End of Trial Period window will appear:

2.	If you already have a license Serial Number choose 'Activate Now' to register your license online.

3.	If you want to continue using the Free Blubox Viewer, select the 'Free Viewer' button. Blubox will now open in Viewer mode until a new Serial Number is registered.

Note:

You can View, Print, Email and Extract files from existing Blubox Archives using the Free Viewer but you will need to obtain a license Serial Number to create New Blubox Archives.

Managing your License

1.	You can register a new license or manage your existing license at any time by accessing the Blubox Licensing screen from 'Help > About Blubox... > Register New License'.

2.	If you already have a Serial Number press the 'Automatic' button to register over the Internet (you can purchase a serial Number securely online by clicking the link).

Note:

Manual Registration is used where no Internet connection is available - please contact support if you are unable to register using the Automatic method.

Transferring your License

To transfer your License to a new computer follow these steps:

1.	First install Blubox on the new computer and accept a Free Trial if one is offered.

2.	On the new computer insert a USB key (or other removable memory device) and open the Blubox Licensing screen (see above).

3.	Click the 'Register Transfer' button, select the memory device you have just inserted and press 'OK'

4.	Remove the memory device and insert it into the original computer.

5.	Open the Blubox Licensing screen on the original computer and click 'Transfer OUT'. Select the memory device you have just inserted and press 'OK'

6.	Remove the memory device and insert it back into the new computer. Open the Blubox Licensing Screen and click 'Transfer IN'

7.	You are now licensed to use Blubox on your new computer.

Note:

Please note that your original computer will no longer be licensed.
