The Folders window is used to navigate the folders on your computer's hard drive. This allows you to quickly find the files and folders you wish to add to an archive or simply open, view and work with them. The Folders pane is a docked window that can be hidden if desired by clicking the x graphic (top right) and opened again by selecting View Menu > Folder Options > Show Folders.
